Sony suggests that users change PSN passwords

After yesterday’s lengthy maintenance of the PSN store after it collapsed for unknown reasons, Sony is now suggesting password changes for specific individuals. Details after the jump.

According to the thesixthaxis, Sony is asking some users who are still experiencing difficulties accessing the PSN store to change their passwords. It is unknown at this time whether the request is being made due to an undisclosed security breach or due to some form of authentication data corruption. Nevertheless, gamers should likely take the safety first approach when dealing with the security of their personal information, and change their passwords.
