NIS working on two games, one confirmed for the Vita

According to IGN, one of the two new games being released by NIS is stepping outside of the developer’s comfort zone. The two new games were originally reported by Andriasang with artwork and images, but it has been further reported by IGN that one of the titles will be released for the Vita.

That game is being called Tokushu Houdoubu (Special Report Division), and will be focused primarily upon television reporting. It is being reported that it is an adventure game, which is stepping away from the tactical RPG focus that NIS has become accustomed to with popular titles such as Disgaea. The game, with no set release date as of yet, is being created for the Vita.

IGN was able to contact NIS and find out that the game will be translated and localized, though the exact details have not yet been uncovered. Updates will be posted as details become available.
