Ubisoft reveals E3 lineup

With E3 fast approaching, it is about that time that we receive a flood of information regarding the planned lineups of numerous developers. Today in a press release, Ubisoft revealed their line up.

The obvious components were among the most highlighted, with the focus being placed on Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed 3, both scheduled for release later this year. In addition to this, Rayman Legends will be made available at Ubisoft’s booth, which is being developed for Nintendo’s Wii U, neither of which have been given an exact release date. Rocksmith, not yet released outside of North America, has been announced as to be featured at the booth as well.

While what they did reveal was to be expected, Ubisoft hinted that they have some big surprises in store for us. Fans of Ubisoft have already begun discussing what these potential surprises might be, with some leaning towards a Splinter Cell 6 reveal, which was confirmed as being in development back in March. Though everything aside from what has been officially announced is pure speculation, with Ubisoft’s CEO’s statement, there is no doubt that Ubisoft is prepared to deliver:

“This year’s E3 promises to be one of our biggest and best yet. We’re showcasing the strongest, most competitive collection of core titles we’ve had in years, innovative new games for new platforms and a broad lineup that has something for everyone.”

-Yves Guillemot

Just as a reminder, E3 will be running from June 5th to June 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Ubisoft has announced that their booth will be #1023, found in the South Hall. The full press release can be found here.
